440 is going to be a new addition to the Newton repeater system. We will need to get the DB-440 antenna from the New Horizon Milling which is inside the headhouse. Justin will get a 61 crystal set for the Master Exec and the Club will need to re-imburse him for expenses.

With the loss of Boeing personnel, Harvey is searching for people to help staff and equip the Camp Kanza JOTA on October 21. Anyone interested should contact Harvey Jones.

For those not working the KS Ultrarunners, there is the Falun Classic in Lindsborg that goes from the park at the north end of Lindsborg over to Hiway 4 and up to Falun and back to Lindsborg.

Stan pointed out that in the October QST that on page 49 there was a 6 and 2m antenna made from ladder line that worked and tuned well on 6m with a near 1:1 and was 1:1.5 on 2m. It can be placed inside PVC tubing to become a directional antenna. On the ground, the antenna remained 1:1 on 6m.
