The March 20, 2004 meeting was held at Red Coach Restaurant in Newton. The meeting was called to order at 9:20am by President Kent Harder. Present were Ko Bartel, Fred Becker, David Duerksen, David Godshall, Bob Harder, Kent Harder, Mike Harvey, Roger Jost, Ken Lundgren, Robin McDaniel, Kent Stutzman. Guests Melanie Twandis (soon to be licensed) and Joe Gilliam (WB5LXW) also were in attendance.

MCC Mennonite Relief Sale: Gave information about the MCC Relief Sale, April 16-17, and Amateur Radio operators' participation. Mentioned the April N.A.R.C. club meeting will be one week later to avoid conflict with the sale participation.

Kansas Sampler Festival: Kent Stutzman is making a list of volunteers to help with communications at the Festival, May 1-2.

Annual Storm Spotter's Meeting: Fred said it was an excellent meeting, very good weather information was given.

New 440 Repeater: Robin sent a controller for the new 440 repeater in for repairs and brought the fixed controller at the meeting. The cost for repair was $166.69, and the new frequency will be 444.675+.

Antenna: Mike passed around a copper pipe antenna he built.

Field Day: Bob reported he has officially secured the Stutzman Retreat Center for Field Day this year.
