The June 19, 2012 meeting of the Newton Amateur Radio Club met at the Newton Public Library in the Board Room. Those in attendance were Greg Brazell, Joe Brazell, John Goerzen, Russell Groves, Kent Harder, Priscilla Harder, David Hughes, Dan Inskeep, Joe Palmer, Charles Meisinger, Stan Stephenson, Kent Stutzman and Jerry Williams.

The meeting was called to order by president Russsell Groves at 7:05PM.

Discussion was mainly about which Club's and persons would furnish radios and for which stations. The Talk in frequency was the Newton repeater and John and Russell planned to be at the Retreat for as much of the event as their schedule allowed.

John mentioned that the APRS node at the EOC was not performing well and that a work party needed to be put together. Kent saidd he would work with Lon on a time to get into the EOC. Dan, Russell, and Stan volunteeered to go and John said that his schedule was full for the month and would not be able to participate in the planned work.

Kent mentioned that the Kansas QSO Party was coming up the last weekend in August and Joe was able to bring up the rules and pass around the stamps that will be available for those participating in the event this year.

Kent gave the club financial report of $880.02 in checking and $25.68 in petty cash. $4.32 for Thank You cards to the newspapers for their publication of the FD exercise.

The meeting adjourned at 8:45PM
