The June 17, 2000 meeting was held at Spear's Restaraunt in Newton. The meeting was called to order at 9:23am by President Ron Farthing. Present were Ko Bartel, Lon Buller, David Duerksen, Ron Farthing, David Godshall, Bob Harder, Robin McDaniel, Kent Stutzman, Roger Wilson, and Dr. J.J. Wilson.

No minutes were taken at the May meeting or such minutes were not forwarded to the secretary. It was apparently a short meeting, with discussion primarily about Field Day.

Treasurer's: Current checking account balance: $775.09

Repeater Trustee's Report: Bob Harder had no report.

Repeater Maintenance: Robin McDaniel has not had a chance to remove the old slightly bent antenna.

Emergencty Preparedness: Lon Buller reported the StormReady certification/accreditation plan currently in application process; will probably start taking effect in a couple months. As always, welcome comments and suggestions.

Skywarn: Ron Farthing reported that the last storm Skywarn did an excellent job, things went smoothly at National Weather Service in Wichita. Hutchinson EOC was online and several other counties reported their readiness. The new repeater, with 2 YAGI antennas with rotors, will be going up the KOEZ tower soon, and they will be able to use HAM help. Secretary will send Ron (and all club members) a list of club EİMail addresses so he can inform the members of the date of the tower work.

Field Day: Bob will not be able to get out to Field Day site Friday, and with a reduced operation will not worry about setting up Friday night; setup will start Saturday morning. 146.61 talkŞin frequency.

Meeting adjourned 9:47am.
