Need serious attenuation to work.
Saturday in September, will have preparedness fair at the Marion
County Fairgrounds. Will have radio presence there. In planning
meeting, Randy Frank had a great time at Field Day. Why don't we
combine Field day with Emergency Management and do it at Marion
County Lake? There is a lake house. Nice potential location with
trees and space for antennas. Marion County will pick up cost of
lake house. Invite the Harvey, McPherson, Hutchinson, and Marion
for the 100 mile, October 11th. No fifty mile event this
year. In terms of operating, we will have a decent repeater at
each end of the course.
Jerry - has been working on mesh net and his radio. Attended the USB net
held by Mark from Derby.
Dan - new way to get antennas up. stacking poles, piece at a time by
climbing a tree. Lanyard at the top to pull the antenna.

narrow bandwidth. Designed for EME. WSJTX is software program for
this type of mode. Other project are copters. Wants to get a tiny
track on it to see how high it is. Will got up over 1,000 feet.

antenna. Heard APRS signal on transmissions for McPherson Net.
