June Minutes were read with no corrections.

Treasurer's Report: Paid $40 for annual state incorporation filing, plus $50 for the rental of the Military Park shelter house for Field Day. The $25 shelter house deposit check was returned and destroyed. Currently a total of $567.41 in the checking account, plus $155 in petty cash, for a total balance of $722.41.

Field Day: David Godshall gave report of the Newton Club's Field Day scoring: 1630 total point with 1030 in QSO points (358 contacts; 157 CW/Digital and 201 Phone) and 600 in bonus points. David will submit the results to the ARRL in the next day or two. He also passed around photos and received QSL cards. Bob Harder gave a quick report on the Hesston College Field Day activities.

Upcoming Events: Roger Wilson mentions some upcoming events that might be able to use Amateur Radio communications help: MS Bike Ride, last month in September. Starkey School bike ride coming up in August, the Grounded Grid probably has details. Festival of Lights parade in December, and Kansas Sampler Festival in May of next year.

Repeater: No action on backup battery and trickle charger replacement. Michael Harvey put a new fan in the case a couple months ago, so hopefully the heat is not building up. Roger Wilson moved that we authorize the purchase a new backup battery and trickle charger for the repeater, Robin seconded. Motion passed.

Hesston 145.21 Repeater: Bob reported that the Hesston repeater is currently off the air. Nelson will return from vacation tomorrow and will probably work on the getting the repeater back on the air after he gets back.

Guest: Roger Wilson instroducted guest David Jackson, KA0YSO. David Godshall passed on the message that Phil Morgan, WD0P, has moved back to Missouri and sends his regrets that he can no longer be in the club.

ARRL Special Service Club: Kent Stutzman reported that we are not currently listed as an active Special Service club, apparently mainly because we have not submitted the paperwork for a number of year. He will look into what we need to submit to reinstate our status.

Meeting adjourned 10:00am.
