Treasurer’s report
Checking $1,370.04
Petty cash $40.00

There was a special vote of thanks to outgoing officers from Dave Hughes and the club.

Russell Groves gave the Repeater Trustee Report
The battery is not replaced yet, Dan Inskeep will assist soon once replacement battery (from the stash) is charged. Since the weekly news line places significant load on the repeater (constant load for 30 minutes), is there interest in keeping it before the Club net on Sunday? The risk is the possibility of burning out the power amp out in the repeater due to the load. There was a motion from John Goertzen and second by Jerry Williams to air one last time on Sunday and then announce we are dropping it. Kent Stutzman will put a link to the site on the NARC website.

Jeanne Groves will start running the Sunday Club net. Normally the controller is pre-programed to delink at 7PM and relink at 8PM.

Old business:

High Speed Hamnet
Dave brought Linksys router to start the project going. Dan has given high gain antenna for project. There is a wealth of information on the project at http://www.broadband-hamnet.org/

Test Session in March
Date, Time, and Place— Jeanne will schedule a library room on March 8th, 2014 from 9am to noon, (If that doesn’t work, then other possibilities will be considered.)
