The December 16, 2000 meeting was held at Spear's Restaraunt in Newton. The meeting was called to order at 9:16am by President Ron Farthing. Present were .

Nominations: Voted to retain current officers with the exception that Kent Stutzman be Vice President. Ron Farthing remains President, David Godshall remains Secretary/Treasurer.

Skywarn: Still waiting for FAA approval for the tower to be errected.

Contests: Upcoming contests: Most contests over for awtile. February: ARRL DX and CQ World Prefix contests.

Memberships: 2000 memberships are expiring, 2001 membership payments are now due.

Annual Storm Spotter's Meeting: March 6th, 7pm, Chisolm Middle School cafeteria, 900 E. First Street.

Introductions: New club member Dan Inskeep was instroduced to the club members.

Larry Boettcher: Salvation Army Team Emergency Radio Network has formed; Thursday/Friday the Salvation Army had a toy distribution, and SATERN provided general communications. First area club meeting Wichita, January 16th, 7pm, 315 N. Market.

RACES: Will start the RACES net again early next year. 8:30pm Monday on 146.61 repeater. Lon also stated that the RACES ID cards will be expiring end of January; he will put out a mailing early January with a time and place to get new cards.
