Present were Charles K0HNC, Jeanne KS0JG, Jerry KD0LWX, Dave WX0DH, Kent Price KE0NJP, Stan WD0EUF, Tony KS0TAD and Joe KD0QNG.

Treasurer’s report was read by Secretary/Treasurer Charles Meisinger. Dave moved and Tony seconded to approve.

The Harvey House special event on Sep 9th was discussed. Members decided not to participate because of too many other club activities, but would assist the Wichita club if they decide to operate from Newton.

The solar eclipse QSO party was discussed. It runs from 09:00 to 17:00 local time on August 21st. Part of the exchange is your 6 digit grid square. Charles and Stan gave information on how to find it on ARRL or QRZ. N1MM+ logger has added a category for the eclipse.

The state ARRL convention will be Aug 20th at Salina at the Webster Convention Center. There is an $8.00 admission charge. Stan will have a table and invited anyone with some equipment to sell to add it to his table.

The MCC Flatlander bike ride will be Sat Sep 16th. Jerry will set up the net control station and use the 146.61 repeater. Contact Jeanne about SAG assignments.

Jeanne will get the invoices to Charles for liability insurance and the fee for Volunteer Hall.

Stan had pictures on his phone of a Swan 300B transceiver of 1960s vintage that someone had in their attic and gave to him for free. It still works but he needs a mike for it.

Stan said that there is a 2 day AUXCOMM training course in El Dorado Sep 9th and 10th from 08:00 to19:00. Several ICS training courses are prerequisite. Jeanne said that after taking the course, you have to work with your local EM to be certified and the certification is only good in that jurisdiction.

Stan reviewed the procedure to follow if we have an intruder again on the Sunday evening net.

Stan passed around ARES application forms for anyone interested in joining.

Dave moved and Jeanne seconded to adjourn at 8:03.
